I went up to the Okangan this past weekend and had the pleasure of photographing one absolutely gorgeous girl! She was a little apprehensive to start but 15mins into her shoot she was exploding with confidence. Rach you were amazing and so beautiful!!

What is boudoir?
*pronounced bŏo dwăawr comes from late 18th century French word and is translated as – a woman’s bedroom or a private sitting room. Boudoir photography, therefore, usually takes place in a setting such as a bedroom or a hotel room… an intimate setting to create classy images that can be soft, romantic, sexy, sensual, or naughty. The main focus of a boudoir photographer is to capture you in the most flattering way by guiding you through the poses that compliment your body type.

Who should go for boudoir photography?

I did my first boudoir shoot yesterday and completely loved it! My model Kim was so amazing! What a fearless, hot woman. She was a little nervous at the beginning but by the middle of the shoot she seemed like she had been doing these type of photos for years. So comfortable in her own skin. I loved it!!

Winner!! Giving Back 2010 Wedding Contest

Thank you to everyone who entered my Giving Back 2010 Wedding Contest! It was so hard to choose just one deserving couple. But after alot of consideration the winning couple is:
Jenn and Mike were nominated by Jenn's sister Amy. Here is there story:
I have a sister, who after a divorce left her a single mother of 4, found an awesome guy who has been nothing but great to her and a great role model for her kids. He has been so active in their life, none of us could of asked for a better "to be" step dad for them. They got engaged this fall and have started to put together wedding plans, but these all were put to a halt when he was crushed by a 3000 lb beam at his job just 3 days ago. He is in the hospital still unstable and things are uncertain, but we remain hopeful that he will come home. They planned to be married in June but are unsure if that date will be too soon at this point, but I do know this next year they will be married. My sister is now quitting her job to take care of him full time when he comes home. He will have many months of rehabilitation ahead of him and she is committed to be there for him every minute. So I nominate Jenn Povse and Mike Franzen for the free 2010 wedding. Thanks for your consideration.
