I recently went to the Okanagan for some photo shoots. My schedule was packed but I still managed to get in some beach time with this gorgeous 30 degree weather. LOVE IT!!! Any way, I have tons of great photos to edit and post so I should get to it. Meanwhile, here are some teaser pics from my weekend in the Okanagan!! Enjoy!!!

Venice Queen-Band Promo Shoot

I had the opportunity to shoot Venice Queen, a local band.

Venice Queen is a 4 piece rock band from Richmond B.C.. They are entering the fox seeds contest and needed some promo pics done, I couldn't help but jump on that. It was pouring rain and I was soaked but the guys said, "rain is totally rock n roll", and they pulled it off. I had a great time shooting them they are an amazing group of guys. Business Cards Have Arrived

I have been waiting for what seems like FOREVER for my business cards! I ordered them from www.moo.com and have been anticipating their arrvial ever since I hit the buy button and now they are in my hands!! I love them, the cards are made from sustainable forests and the holder/box they are kept in is made from recycled pulp! Yay for being green!!!

Do you remember this little guy? This is Liam, I did a shoot with him when he was 3.5 months old..now he is 8 months old and such a handsome little man. His mom and I were at the park and I took a few snap shots of him having is first ride on the swings!!!

My reason for wanting to join these wonderful ladies at their workshop:
Just starting out as a photographer I know i have a lot to learn and who better to learn it from then 4 ladies who have it all figured out? I want to be able to balance both my photography and family without depriving one of them for the other. I want to have the best of both worlds!! (Is that really possible?) I would love to pick these ladies brains and figure out how they got where they are today. Each of them have amazing photography skills and to one day shoot like them would be amazing!! They all have different techniques and visuals, which in turn produce some of the most beautiful photos that I have ever seen. So make sure to check them all out!!!!

I did a photo shoot with 3 kids yesterday, it was crazy! These kids are not fans of the camera, but they worked with me for a bit and I did end up getting a few great shots...despite the fighting between them lol.
