My Photobook is finally here!

I ordered a 2 books awhile ago from pictage.com, one a hard cover photo book of an engagement session I did and a leather bound book of all my favorite shots that I've taken. Well the first one is finally here and I couldn't be happier. Well yes I could, I should have ordered a bigger one, but either way I still love it!

2009 Juno Awards

WOW, AMAZING, WICKED AWESOME! 

Those are just a few words explaining my time yesterday at the 2009 Juno Awards. It started out bright and early 9 o'clock in the morning in line to get a good spot in the Etalk Red Carpet Audience, ( I won tickets from Etalk a couple of weeks ago). Finally at around 1 o'clock we (My mom, my husband, my sister, my two best friends and my self) where front row up against the gates on the red carpet.  We had two hours of yelling and screaming for ETalk's red carpet special (airing tonight at 7 pm ET) and won some give aways at the same time. I scored a t-shirt and a Juno awards CD. After losing our voices and standing for what seemed like forever it was time for the show to start!!!!! Celebrity after celebrity walked the carpet. They talked with us, posed for pictures and signed autographs! But the best part was when we where given tickets for the actual award show by Russell Peters and Michael Buble!!!

It was an unbelievably long day, but so worth it!!!

Lunch Tme At My House

Lunch time at my house with a 2 year old is anything but easy. My little man loves food, but he only wants to eat on his own terms. If he had his way he would be eating lunch every five minutes. Alot of times I'll make him lunch and he won't want to eat it. But sometimes he does, like today. Oh and did I forget to mention lunch time is never a clean time in my house.

His I'm so cute, you can't get mad at me face.

My Baby Sister

My little sister Mercedes is down from Penticton visiting me on her spring break. She was kind enough to be my model so I could use my new camera. She is naturally beautiful and definitely got all the good looks in the family. Shes so comfortable in front of the camera. Here's our photo session we had around my yard.

Finally A Camera To Call My Own

For the past 6 months I've been shooting with a wide variety of cameras.  Some point and shoots. And some borrowed SLRs!  But now I finally own my own SLR! I recently bought a Canon Rebel XS with a EF-S 18-55mm lens kit. For my first SLR, I think its a pretty good piece of equipment to figure out this whole new world of digital single-lens reflex cameras. But we'll see now won't we?!
